SEATTLE -In Wolfpac's last meeting with Haiduc Moldova the game ended in a 4-4 draw. For most of this semi-final the game looked to be heading into penalty kicks as a result of a tie, but the mostly solo effort of a HM player turned things around for the Moldovans. Haiduc Moldova will now face either Seattle Soccer Club or Atletico Maya in the final tomorrow afternoon. Wolfpac nearly out shot its opponent tonight 2-1 but the result was a late second half loss that could be pointed at costly misses throughout the game. There were at least five open net opportunities, most on the back post that were missed - flying just wide or even hitting the bar. Wolfpac was able to save some dignity on the night with a strong defensive showing (despite the goals) and a hero of its own in Roosa who was the only Wolfpac goal scorer. Roosa has a total of nine on the season; a career best for while playing for Wolfpac. Although not one of
Wolfpac's best performances, it was far from the worst in a season that
saw ups and downs throughout. In the regular season Wolfpac finishes
second on goal differential and with tonight's loss moves to .: Notes :.
